— ERPNext / Migration
From Tally, SAP, Quickbooks — or another ERPNext.
Migrations are where ERP projects go to die. We've done dozens — from Tally, Quickbooks, Sage, Zoho, Odoo, SAP B1, and from old self-hosted ERPNext to Frappe Cloud. Two dry-runs, sign-off on every phase, parallel run during cutover.
Outcomes you can expect
- 2
- dry runs before go-live, always
- 0
- data losses on record, eight years
- 2–6 wk

Common questions
Answered, before you ask.
How much historical data do you migrate? +
Master data (customers, suppliers, items, COA) — always all of it. Transaction history — typically opening balances per fiscal year, not full re-posting. Re-posting full history is possible but expensive and rarely worth it.
Will my old reports still work? +
No — and you don't want them to. ERPNext has its own report builder and Metabase integration. We rebuild your top 10 reports during migration so they're actually better than what you had.
What if migration fails on go-live day? +
Documented rollback. We can revert to the source system in under 4 hours. We've never had to use it, but it's in the plan.
